Easter Weekend

We had a very busy and fun Easter weekend. Friday we took a little field trip to the local firestation. The kids were mesmerized by the fireman in his full gear and they love climbing inside the big truck. Saturday morning we went to our ward Easter Brunch and egg hunt. It was a bit chaotic trying to chase three kids around and get pictures of them hunting for eggs. Later that evening we went duck pin bowling with friends. The kids had a blast. The balls were just their perfect size and the pins were smaller too. It was fun watching them cheer each other on and celebrate when they knocked the pins over. Sooo cute! The next morning was of course Easter and due to the fact that they already had tons of candy, the Easter bunny hid their Easter baskets full of little gifts in silly places. Abby's was in the dryer and Andrew's was in the bathtub. They got a kick out of that. Really I was just exhausted and it sounded like an easy solution to the whole Easter hunt task. We were actually ready for church early so we took a few minutes to take pictures in their Easter outfits. It was a fun and exhausting weekend, but I am glad that we stayed busy and the kids had fun even though Perry couldn't be here.

I have major issues with posting slide shows. Not sure what the problem is. I'll figure it out soon.

Sarah, Your kids look so cute! Abby looks very grown up! You did a great job pulling off the holiday alone!

The slideshow just says "loading" on your page but when I clicked on "view all images" I was able to see the whole thing just fine. The pictures were so cute =) I loved the hiding places for their baskets, very cute idea!

I am impressed you were ready EARLY and had time for pictures! I struggle to get to church on time when it's not Easter Sunday and I don't care if they look cute. Love the pictures. I agree that Abby looks very grown-up! Taking the kids to the firestation and bowling on your own....Hey I am impressed. Do you surprise yourself with courage sometimes? Sometimes I think it works fine because mentally you are prepared for the worst. And when the WORST doesn't happen I think "That wasn't too bad." Great job, and hey the slideshow looks way out of my league so good job!
