I am so proud of this kid. We have been potty training for the past 2 weeks and he has done awesome. He really picked it up quickly. I was worried that I had waited too long. He got the pee-pee thing down right away and he even stays completely dry at night, but we are still working on getting him to go poop in the potty. For some reason he is terrified of this. I have heard this is normal, but I don't really know how to help him. If any of you have any wisdom on this, PLEASE let me know and leave a comment. I am willing to try whatever, so leave me your advice and suggestions.

Orioles Game, 4th of July, and more!
It was Mormon Night at Camden Yards so we took Abby and Andrew to an Orioles game with a bunch of our friends. I think the kids enjoyed the train ride to and from the stadium more than the game itself, but they seemed to keep themselves entertained. We had a great night.

The kiddos on the metro.

Some of the gang. We almost got jumped on the metro, but with all the kids we had with us, we must have been too intimidating.

We got a babysitter for Avery. Come on, we aren't taking a 1 year old to a baseball game!!

The 4th of July was memorable as always in this year. It has rained (and when I say rained, I mean down-poured) every year on the 4th of July for the past 5 years. We started off the day with a picnic with friends, food from Five Guys and then more fun with friends at the parade field before the rain and fireworks began. Thank goodness we had our canopy. My kids were soaked, but they had a blast and we stuck it out yet another year and saw the fireworks despite the rain.

Our family trying to stay dry.

Look at that little tongue!

Andrew and Abby having fun with their umbrellas.

Andrew got completely soaked but was mesmerized by the fireworks, oh and of course the glow stick. What's 4th of July without glow sticks?

Our final night of playing Cities and Knights with the Hales. Sniff Sniff. :( We played one last time in our empty house but as you can see, we made it work. We are hard core.

Our New Home
So I am finally posting something. I haven't been able to find my camera card reader since we got here, and I have so many pictures I have wanted to post of our last few weeks. Plus, who wants to read a post with no pictures? Boring right? Anyway, this is a picture of our new house. It is not as big as our last house, but it is newer and we really like it. It's a typical town home. We now have wood floors and stairs. But we miss our neighborhood pools. Sigh.

Riding bikes in the front yard

Enjoying one of our first meals at home after too many days of eating out.

Two is better than one!

Doesnt' she have pretty eyes?

We Made It!
Well we finally made it to Georgia and we are getting settled into our new house. Everything has gone smoothly so far. My amazing husband fit EVERYTHING into the truck, drove it down here and unloaded the whole thing all by himself! It has been quite an adventure. We just want to thank all of our wonderful friends at Fort Meade for the help we have had over the past few weeks. We could not have done this move without you and your support. We have some pretty incredible friends. We miss you all already. This has been an emotional past week leaving our home and friends for the past five years. We were so glad to be able to spend time with so many of you over the 4th of July weekend. Even though the weather was bad, we had a blast and will remember our time at Fort Meade forever. We really did squeeze as much playtime in as we could and we don't regret a second of it. We love all of you and hope to keep in touch. More updates to come!
