We Made It!

Well we finally made it to Georgia and we are getting settled into our new house. Everything has gone smoothly so far. My amazing husband fit EVERYTHING into the truck, drove it down here and unloaded the whole thing all by himself! It has been quite an adventure. We just want to thank all of our wonderful friends at Fort Meade for the help we have had over the past few weeks. We could not have done this move without you and your support. We have some pretty incredible friends. We miss you all already. This has been an emotional past week leaving our home and friends for the past five years. We were so glad to be able to spend time with so many of you over the 4th of July weekend. Even though the weather was bad, we had a blast and will remember our time at Fort Meade forever. We really did squeeze as much playtime in as we could and we don't regret a second of it. We love all of you and hope to keep in touch. More updates to come!

Hooray! Now you're in my neck of the woods. Where exactly in Georgia are you? We are 5 hours from Atlanta, just to give you a ballpark of where we are in Florida. Glad you guys got moved and hope you get settled in quickly!

I'm sad that you're gone from Maryland and I'm not even there!! Enjoy Georgia though, that was our home for nearly 4 years and we liked it. Plus, there are already some good people there.

I see that you went with the DITY move option. I hope it was worth it.

hooray! Glad to hear that you guys made it. And you have internet that is always hard to get going in a new place. I hope you guys get settled in and find that you feel like home there. It always takes me a little while for some reason? Good luck and I can't wait for more info!

Hey there!
About your comment on my blog, I just felt really lazy, it was easier to just put captions under the pix :). Anyhow, I miss you a lot and it was pretty sad not to see your kiddos in primary today. I'll call you after we come back from NY. I really want to call you today but I wasn't sure what time you go to Church. The boys are sending their hugs to Abby, Andrew and Ava.. Tell Perry we said, Ola!

I just caught up on your last several posts. I'm so glad you guys made it to Georgia okay. Moving stinks! And I loved your movie list. I totally remember all of those movies, and I still get freaked out about Watcher in the Woods. I think we watched it at your house a time or two. :) Good luck with all the unpacking.

I'm glad you are here in Georgia. I can't wait to get to know you more. I think it's pretty amazing Perry did all that by himself. Don't you worry it will be worth it...
