Trunk or Treat

Saturday night was our ward's annual trunk or treat. For kids, it's the social event of the year and our kids had been looking forward to it for months. Halloween might as well already be over now because we had the trunk or treat and we all got dressed up. It was a fun night. Abby went as the Island Princess. If you have a girl ages 3-8 then you know the significance, if not you've probably never heard of her. She wanted to look just like her with the blonde wig and everything. She looked adorable! She looked like a completely different person with the wig on. I have to say, it was a little creepy. But she loved it. Andrew was the classic cowboy on a horse. By the end of the night, he got tired and wouldn't hold up the horse's reins, so it's head was just hanging there. Perry was telling everyone that his horse had died :) But Andrew was all about the candy. The kid has such a sweet tooth! Avery was our baby lion cub. Perry dressed up as a ninja and I was a black cat. I know, real original. The kids had a blast and got way too much candy! I'll post some more pics of them on Halloween.

Sarah, You guys look so great! Little Avery is adorable and I'm loving the wig on Abby! I could barely get the kids costumes together, let alone costumes for me and JOE! Way to go!

I loved Abby in her wig! I didn't even know it was her until I noticed MJ trailing behind her. ;)

Ohhh, I wish I was there again for your "trunk or treat." Their costumes are so adorable. I love the little baby cub costume. Your pumkins are cute. We never got around to carving them this year!

Looks like you guys had fun. Our ward skipped the Halooween party in favor of a Book of Mormon themed Fall Fest. I'm glad I had to work.
Good to see you guys. Don't forget to check out my personal blog at royfillmore.blogspot.com and let me know what your favorite Charleton Heston film is for the Nov film of the month.

You are right sarah, it did make abby look like someone completely different with her wig on!
Wish we had been there. It's kind of weird going to a ward party when you don't know anyone! Emily G.

Yes, we also own the Island Princess dress. And Holly was going back and forth on whether to be that for Halloween, but I encouraged her to be a witch, because I love the costume we had from a couple of years ago, and I knew if probably wouldn't fit as well next year!
What cute costumes you all had!

Hey Sarah,
Do you remember Steve Grammer? He was your home teacher in Monterey for about a month. I got you blog address from EmilieAn's. Do you have Derdrie's email address.

Your kids are really cute and I can't believe you were able to get your husband to dress up.
