Larriland Farm

On Saturday we ventured out for our annual Fall outing to Larriland Farms. It's this great farm about 30 minutes from our house. They have a pumpkin patch, apple orchards, raspberry picking and much more. They also have a fun little hay ride, a maze for the kids made out of hay bales, and delicious food! The kids loved the bumpy hay ride. All along the path were different stuffed-made characters from Winnie the Pooh, Shrek, & Harry Potter. The weather was beautiful; warm and sunny with a cool breeze. Perfect fall weather. After the hay ride, Abby & Andrew had a blast chasing each other through the maze. We ate BBQ chicken, hot dogs and hot apple fritters for lunch. And every year we have to come home with some fresh apple cider. Sooo good! We had hoped to get a cute family picture but the kids weren't really cooperating. None of them would look at the camera! Lately they've been sort of photophobic. Well, except Abby. I think she posed for me on every giant pumpkin that was there.

That attempted family picture is so funny. Who took it? Please tell me you propped is up on something because I would love to meet the person that took that crooked picture! The kids are looking so big, especially Abby. We miss you guys.

How fun. I love that you get to wear jackets in the Fall. We're still in shorts and flip flops. But we are going to our pumpkin patch tomorrow. My kids are so excited. Your family pictures was darling!

We missed not going to a farm this year for pumpkin picking. Hopefully next year we will be on top of things because they have to exist somewhere here.
Looks like it was a fun time!

What an adorable family!!I love to hear about all your little outings. This farm sounds like a great place, better than Gardner Village. Keep up the great memories. We love you. Mom and Dad
