Halloween & A Visit from Grandma!

Halloween was a much anticipated event this year at our house. I think the kids asked me every single day in October "how many more days until Halloween?" It made for a very long month for me. But Halloween also meant Grandma Carlene would be coming to visit.

At the ward trunk or treat. We weren't very original with costumes this year, which made it super easy on me. We had a pumpkin, Spiderman & Hannah Montana.

This was seriously the best picture I got of the three of them together. They are all actually looking at the camera. A Galan family first.

My little poser, she had quite the rock star moves.

The best part of Halloween is counting and sorting out the loot! I found him hiding in the corner of the room behind the couch. He's very protective over his candy.

One more shot of this cute girl. Can you tell Andrew got a hold of her wig earlier that day? We had long blonde wig hairs all over the house. It was a little ratty, but she didn't seem to mind.

Avery trick or treating with Grandma. This was her first house. She was a little hesitant to take the candy. She just kept staring at our neighbor who looked pretty creepy.

While my mom was here we celebrated her 52nd Birthday!

All ready for church. Avery wasn't cooperating.

The kids had a blast playing games with Grandma, she brought all kinds of fun things.

We had a great visit with Grandma Carlene. I just realized I did not get a single picture of the two of us together. Sad. Thanks for the fun visit mom! We love you and miss you.

Do you really have a child old enough to idol Hannah Montana?? I guess I should be grateful that Gabby seems to show no interest. Although, sadly my little Kort who loved Thomas and wonder pets is now into the big boy "fighting figures" Transformers and ninja turtles and I am so sad that this is all happening so fast. It looks like you guys had a great Halloween. I am SO glad you had another visitor. Time seems to go quicker when there's visitors. October dragged for me as well. There were 31 days and I feel like I felt everyone of them!! Thank goodness for November except that it brings an abrupt ending to my twenties:( Maybe since I'm dreading it...it will go by faster.

The kids look great, don't worry about being original, it's too hard when you have more than 1 child!! I can't believe Abby's into Hannah Montana, I still think of her as a little toddler I guess. It looks like Andrew loves candy as much as Brayden. The day after I found a pile of wrappers hidden behind our couch. WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO COLORADO?

I'm loving the Hannah Montana! Annie is just getting into all of that (thanks to a little push from her cousins!)

So glad you got some quality time with your mom! Are you counting down the days yet?
