Well 2 of my beautiful sisters came out to visit me and the kids for about a week over my birthday. We had a great time. It was a little crazy having 5 kids 5 years and younger running around. At some point one of them was always screaming, but we managed. We didn't get much sleep, but we got in a lot of talking, laughing, shopping, eating, and walking. I'm sure we were quite a sight in D.C. trying unsuccessfully to keep our little ones from picking the tulips at the cherry blossom festival, while running around with our cameras. My kids had a great time with their little cousins Hazel and Ruby, and it made me really miss being around family. Thank you Molly and Kate for coming out and making my 30th birthday so special and memorable. Love you guys! More pics to come from our crazy and fun weekend.

Did Molly cut her hair or did I just not notice that it was short? I thought it was long, but I could just be out of it. The pic of all three of you together is so cute and the kids all look great!

Oh one more thing...you looked awesome at church on Sunday. I love your dress. When I see a great dress like that it always reminds me of Diane Lane in "Under the Tuscan Sun" when she shows up in her fabulous white dress. Plus she has that cute orange dress at the end that I love too. All great dresses are now titled after her. So, you looked great in your "Diane Lane Dress"!!

Jamie, Molly cut her hair while she was here so she could be just like us. :) I thought it turned out cute. I call that dress my Lucille Ball dress. I feel kind of old fashioned in it. Or like a stepford wife, but thanks for the compliment.

Kate your comment made me laugh out loud. You summed it up perfectly. I wonder how long that took you.

I didn't say it, but Molly's hair looks way cute. I wasn't asking because I thought she looked funny or anything. I just couldn't remember if it was long when I saw it. Way cute!

Your sisters were so fun! Even though there were more kids, isn't it that much easier with more adults around? Enchanted singin' is a regular at our house. . . "that's how you know that he loves me." Oh, and ditto to the new look Molly. :)
