Here we are on the set of Live after the show.
Kelly came down & talked with the audience during every commercial break. She is so funny and even tinier in person. She could use a cheeseburger or two, but she was made for television.
Another shot of Regis & Kelly during a break.
Another shot of Kelly talking to the audience.
Outside the Gershwin theater on Broadway before seeing Wicked. It rained all day that day
Here we are right after Wicked. The show was wicked good! :) We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone.
The paparazzi hounded us like crazy the entire weekend. Who told them we would be there? :)
Here we are at the Metropolitan Museum of Art at a cool ancient Egyptian ruin exhibit.
Waiting for the subway train. Perry was the photographer on this trip so there are way too many pictures of me.
The view from our hotel room in Times Square.
We took the Staten Island ferry across the river to see the skyline and the Statue of Liberty
Lady Liberty in all her glory
We waited in line at the famous Magnolia Bakery. This place is famous for their delicious cupcakes among other goodies. There is always a line out the door for these things. The cupcakes were good, but their Banana pudding was amazing. Here I am picking out my cupcakes. We ate way too much good food. Good thing we were walking around all day long.

We were able to do a session in the Manhattan temple. It was so beautiful inside. One of my favorite temples. It is right in the middle of the city across the street from Lincoln Center. We also went to Rockefeller Center and saw the Today show and a Mary J. Blige concert, we went to another Broadway show called Avenue Q. It was really funny, but also a little risque' if you know what I mean. We strolled through Central Park, got standby tickets to SNL, but were unable to get in, went to China town, and walked and shopped and ate all over Manhattan. It was an absolute blast! Thanks to Caitlin for all of your recommendations (they were fabulous) and to Pete and Elida for taking care of our crazy kids.

So fun!! We're going to NYC Memorial Day weekend and I'm totally adding Magnolia Bakery to my list of to-dos. I love banana pudding! Oh did you need tickets to go to the Today show?
how fun!! What a great getaway.
AAAAAAH I am so jealous!!! Mary J, and Natasha? Those are two of my favorites. I totally need you to plan a weekend getaway for Mel and I, like, soon.
I know what you did with your tax rebate. Way to stimulate the economy! ;)
You guys look like you had so much fun! I would say avenue Q was cheeky...I believe there's a song called the internet is for porn. You crazy kids!
It looks like you had so much fun! I love NYC!
Sweet Update... I'm so jealous... I'm thinking the only thing that could top this is a weekend with some "girlfriends". Hmmm.....
Sarah, you guys really covered some ground! We went up to New York 3 0r 4 times in our seven years we lived on the East coast. You guys seemed to get it right. We were always like...ok what next? or wow that is expensive! Such a neat place. Happy anniversary to the beautiful couple! Sarah, you look so good. I know I always seem to comment on that. Either you just put up really good pictures or you are just looking awesome at 30! 8 yrs and 3 kids later....your are doing something right.
Sarah! That looks soooo awesome! I'm sure you had the best time-can't wait to hear more!

Wow..you guys weren't messin around! You did so much. I can't wait to talk all about it. Do you feel like a "new woman" after so many days without the kids? Liberating is exactly how i would describe it...and i only have one! We are going back in Sept. so i would love to hear your reccomendations for shows, restaurants, etc.
Talk to you sooooon:) wink wink
It's hilarious that you saw Avenue Q--we went having no idea what it was about.
I love that there are so many pictures of you too! I'm getting tired just thinking of how stuff you guys need.
Happy Anniversary!
Wow! It was fun seeing your in-laws with the kids all weekend. They are AWESOME and oh so cute! Your father-in-law was shocked that I didn't watch The Bachelor and I was shocked that he did. :) heehee! We will be doing this when we return in three years. Brandon promised...
Happy Anniversary you two! Cutest couple ever...well next to Mike and Naika, haha! I'm jealous about your trip but you know me I can't be away from my kids for more than 5 hours. Anyhow, I'm glad that you're back :)!
Wow... what fun! I would love to go to New York! I totally know what you're saying about the kids... when Ryan and I went on our trip last month I felt like I was forgetting something every time we left our room. I'm so used to hauling diapers, wipes, sippy cups, snacks, Kleenex, etc that I felt naked just carrying a purse!!!
Awesome Sarah, I'm so happy that you had such a great time. I love your pictures, I've got to get a camera like that!

How fun! Isn't Wicked awesome! I loved it! You guys look like you're having such a great time, we definitely need to get away on our own. Happy Anniversary! You look so great and so happy! Miss you guys! Annie
We went to NYC, but definitely didn't take in as much as you guys did. It's sounds like you had a ton of fun! Adam and I are getting our first vacation away from kids next week. We're so excited. Minneapolis won't be as fun as NYC, though. :)
