Updates

As usual I am behind on my blogging.  Here are a few pics of the kids.  We had a major, record breaking (as in...this has never happened before) snow storm here in Georgia a few weeks ago and the kids had a ball playing in the snow.   Of course Perry was out of town for all the excitement.  He was enjoying his own winter wonderland in Wisconsin for a couple weeks.

This is the best picture I could get of Andrew playing in the snow.  I was being wimpy and didn't go out myself until the blizzard stopped.  Poor Andrew doesn't have any snow pants because... Hello... we live in Georgia!  He had to wear Abby's old pink snow pants.
Abby's 3rd snowman.  The first two were destroyed by her siblings but she didn't give up.

I have been trying desperately to get Avery potty-trained or at least interested.  I never had such a hard time with my other two kids.  Any advice or tips out there are welcome.  She doesn't even want to try but she's already three and I am sick of changing diapers already!  I kept waiting for her to be interested and that still hasn't happened.  This is a rare shot of her actually sitting on the potty and smiling.  Which brings me to my biggest reason for wanting her out of diapers..........Baby number 4 is on its way!!  Yes it's true.  I am pregnant!  I am just over 10 weeks along and due October 3rd.

We are excited for this new little addition and luckily so far I have not been too sick (knock on wood).  I have mainly just been feeling tired and had low energy.  I think the fourth time around I have finally figured out that if I just keep eating constantly, even if food doesn't sound good, the nausea will subside.  Now this strategy is not helping me in the weight-gain department, but I would rather feel good most of the time than be losing weight.  So there you have it.  That's the latest and greatest Galan family news!

Congrats!! 4 is a blast! And I'm having the same problem getting Brigham to potty train!! Over 3 and saying "No! I want my diapers!" There's a first for everything, but this is one that I could do without! I've had 2 in diapers for almost a year - I'm done!!

Congrats! Bridgette was SO not interested in potty training. We did a sticker reward system with her. We're working on potty training Leilani right now too.

Congratulations! I was hoping to hear this good news soon. We're only 2 weeks apart so this will be awesome! Hope the pregnancy goes well and I hope that potty training does too. We're also working on that but day care has the biggest influence on her willingness so we have no tips.

YAY! Congratulations ... I was hoping there was a #4 coming sometime for you guys - you have the most adorable kids. Love the pink snow pants - if we ever have a girl - she will probably always be dressed in boy looking snow geer! CONGRATS!

Congratulations! I'm excited for you (and a little jealous) that you haven't been very sick. I'm sure enjoying having a baby to snuggle and cuddle with again. I'm excited to hear more!!

YAY! I'm so excited for you! I'm gonna go find cute Japanese stuff for your baby! Just ask Naika, I'm so bad at mailing stuff that the package for Naia just got to her. :P So I'll get on it and maybe by the time you have your baby, I'll send a package. :)

Ainsley took a whole stinkin' year to potty train. She started out wanting to and then with all the moving and automatic toilet scares she just gave up. All I can say is to go with the flow.

PS was Andrew really that upset about wearing Abby's snow pants?

Congratulations! It's a blast with 4! I hear you on the difficult potty training, and I have no advice for you, as we've finally just potty trained Ally and it was a HARD, LONG, road. Yikes, I hate potty training!

Sarah, I am so happy for you. I really don't want to do the math and say "I think I was right, you were pregnant and not car sick back in January!! But then again, I won't show you my math report card cause it wasn't pretty. So I could be wrong but either way YOUR PREGNANT! I am excited for you. Well, kinda cause I think being pregnant isn't really so much fun.I'll be even happy when your done and get your little baby:)

Yeah for Baby #4. That is so exciting. I think that is super cool that you and Jamie R. are only a couple weeks apart.
I don't know if this will help you but some women find that eating Lemon Drops or Preggie pops helps.
Congrats again.
Tell Abby and Andrew Brooklyn and Chandler say Hi.

Congrats on the new baby! How exciting! As for potty training I don't have any good advise. Keira holds her poo for a week at a time now. She's doing good with peeing though at least.

Yay! congratulations- 4 is fun- really! Love the snow photos. Ben has spent a little time in girls snow clothes, so I can relate. Re: potty training, bribery. Buy the object now and keep it in sight. For some reason, seeing it and knowing what you need to do to get it motivates like nothing else. Good luck;)

Love you and your cutie pie kiddos. P.S. Colson wants to marry Abby still, by any chance does she even remember him?

Congratulations! I'm glad you aren't feeling too bad.
And with potty training, massive bribery has always been my strategy. Hope it all works out easy for you!

Congratulations, I'm so excited for you. You make especially cute babies. I hope you're still feeling ok. And good job/good luck with the potty training, it is always worth it when it's done. Has Perry found any good leads on jobs for when he gets out of the military? I'm hoping you end up back in UT.

Yeah--congrats--I'm so glad that you are feeling pretty good. As far as potty training...we finally got Kate going, but really, it just had to be her idea. She was my hardest by far. These kids are just stubborn! Good luck with everything. :)
