We took a trip to a little pumpkin patch. Well it was actually a glorified side of the road pumpkin stand. It was seriously 80 degrees when we were picking out our pumpkins so it hasn't really felt like Fall at all here. That's the south for you.
My three little pumpkins! The sun was sorta shining right in their eyes and our eyes below.
Then we carved our pumpkins with the Terrys. If you carve your pumpkins too early here, they will seriously rot before Halloween. We thought six days before would be okay, but ours still rotted. They were just extra creepy looking. :)
Andrew scooping out his pumpkin guts.
The cute Terrys (who have adopted us as their own.)
All the kiddos with their carved pumpkins. That is seriously the pumpkin Avery picked out at the pumpkin patch. She doesn't get the whole carving thing yet. But it's tiny and cute just like her.
On our way to the ward trunk or treat. I guess the theme was red, black and white this year.
Abby wanted to be a cowgirl. Thanks to my friend Jessica for helping me make her skirt wearable and modest. Got the skirt at Kid to Kid and the boots on ebay. Yee haw!
Better watch out, this Dracula will bite you.... or stare you down. He was seriously in character the whole night. Jessica also helped me make this vest. I'm not very homemakerish....okay?
And our lady bug fairy. She was smiling real cute until she saw all the kids piling into the car and thought they were leaving without her.
Best of friends
Andrew and his friend Chandler. See what I mean? Look at that creepy glare.
After the trunk or treat.
Halloween night, on our way to go trick or treating. It was really muggy, but what a fun crowd. You can't see Keaton's costume but he is a space shuttle (it's on his back). What a fun month!

Awee what fun. Your kids look so cute. I loved Andrew. Yes, indeed he will stare you down. What a cute picture you captured of Anderw and Chandler. We are so sad we missed the Trunk Or Treat. Luckly Daddy come homes this weekend yeah It's been a long 7 weeks.
1. Andrew scares me. For real.
2. That face Avery is making makes me sad. It is a look of such sad panic.
3. Cool pumpkins! How did you get all your pumpkins carved without Perry? We had 4 adults with us and our hands were all throbbing at the end.
Looks like the kids had a lot of fun. I'm sure it would have been more fun for you if Perry were there. I'm sure you can't wait till Christmas time comes around with it bringing your hubby home and all. That would be weird to be picking pumpkins out in 80 degree weather. At least you had friends to go with.
Cute costumes. Poor Avery and that face of "oh no they are leaving me". Leila has that look down too though. Andrew makes one spooky Dracula. And I LOVE Abby's skirt. I want some of those for my girls. Too bad Perry missed out I'm sure you'll be SO glad when he's back.
The costumes are adorable! I am in love with Avery in the picture where she thinks she's being left. And... I can't believe how big your kids are already!
When does Perry get back to you guys? We're counting down the days here too.
I'm so liking the matching colors--it makes for a great photo of the three of them! I want that cowgirl costume!!! Especially the boots.
When does Perry get home? And when does he get out? :)
So, I'm just wondering, HOW DO YOU DO IT????? YOu should seriously be MOTHER OF THE YEAR!!! I am so so lame in comparison. Jason is at work ALL THE TIME and I'm in no way a fun mom like you are! You are freakin' awesome, but I do wish you lived here so that we could hang out while our husbands were gone all the time! Are you coming in for the holidays at all?
Admit it. You TOTALLY planned the black, red, and white! It's too ADORABLE to not be planned. Seriously. I can't even decide which costume I like the most. But I think the red hat and boots tip the scale a little. awesome.
Super cute, and I love the coordinating colors! You pull it off so well Sarah, I miss you guys!
Love love all of the halloween costumes!
SO have you moved to seasonal posting?? :)
Guess what - WE NEVER DID THE PUMPKIN PATCH - am I lame?

Sarah, I don't know how you do it all without a husband! The kids are too cute, I love Andrew's glare. You look great too-so tan!
What is up with your husband any how? He's never around! I love the picture of you and the kids all together at the pumpkin patch. You look great and I miss you!
Love ya
I just wish you had picked a picture of our family where we all look sick/surprised/like we are sneezing instead of the one where we all look so attractive.
